The Racial Equity Coalition of Appalachia seeks to advance the health and vitality of our multicultural Appalachian communities through innovative, creative and collaborative intercultural problem solving. As we learn and understand the historical impact of systemic racism and cross-cultural bias across diverse communities, we seek to improve the landscape of our nation by learning, unlearning and reconciling the harm perpetuated across diverse populations to cultivate inclusive and harmonious communities in Appalachia and beyond.
